bizhub 40P/40PX

45 ppm B&W output. The bizhub 40P/40PX black and white printer gives you high-speed, 1200 x 1200 dpi laser printing for a wide range of B&W documents with a robust monthly duty cycle of up to 200,000 pages.

The powerful Emperon® Print System. Print control is built in, with PS3 and PCL6 emulation, native XPS support for Windows Vista, and PDF, JPEG and TIFF direct print capabilities for all your most common document formats.

WSD support. The Konica Minolta bizhub 40P/40PX support WSD (Web Services on Devices), a new secure protocol designed to speed and improve the discovery of networked devices throughout your work environment.

Easy network integration. The bizhub 40P/40PX black and white printer is ideally suited to multi-platform business environments, with Gigabit Ethernet® (10/100/1000BaseTX), IEEE 1284 Parallel, and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface. Support for TCP/IP, EtherTalk, NetWare, NetBEUI, FTP, Bonjour, HTTPS and other common protocols allows easy integration into almost any IT network.

Simple keypad operation. Intuitive one-touch keypad controls make your black and white printer simple to operate, even for first-time users. The LCD window can be seen from a distance and provides helpful messages on print job status, toner level and offline conditions.

Versatile media capability. A standard 150-sheet multipurpose tray accommodates all media types and sizes and enables you to print on all types of approved media, including heavy stock, envelopes, labels, transparencies, postcards or even banners up to 8.5" x 35.4".

1,800-sheet maximum paper capacity. Adding up to two optional cassettes can raise paper capacity to a maximum of 1,800 sheets, for longer print runs without adding paper.

Fast, efficient auto-duplexing. An auto-duplex unit (optional on bizhub 40P, standard on bizhub 40PX) allows you to produce two-sided prints automatically and save paper.

Optional 500-sheet stacker/sorter. Organize document output easily with an optional stacker/sorter for your black and white printer.

Enhanced security. To protect vital information in the networked era, the bizhub 40P/40PX provides optional password-protected printing and other security enhancements.

USB flash-drive direct print functionality. With the optional 40 GB Hard Disk or Compact Flash Card Adaptor installed, you can print JPEG, TIFF, PDF and XPS files (requires hard drive) from USB flash drives.

40 GB HDD option. An internal 40 GB Hard Disk Drive option can provide expanded memory, security and convenience functions.

Powerful PageScope® software. Use LinkMagic and ScanSoft PaperPort SE from Nuance to scan documents to email, PDF, or another format for sharing or storage. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature converts scanned documents to editable text.
A built-in 33.6 Kbps Super G3 fax features 12 one-touch dials, 100 speed dials, group dial, broadcast, and 3.5 MB of fax memory.
