Face-up scanning. When you work with the PS7000C MKII scanner for books, the original sits face-up -- so you can see at a glance that your positioning is correct. Face-up scanning also protects bindings and reduces the need for handling, because you can scan multiple pages of books or magazines by just turning the pages.

Built-in book cradle. The Konica Minolta PS7000C MKII features a book cradle center section that adjusts to fit the spines of bound books and ledgers. Its left and right mobile sections can be pressed down under the thicker side of the book to create a leveled surface.

Scan 3D objects. Create sharp color scans of three-dimensional objects up to 2" high -- such as small collectibles, historical objects, jewelry, coins and other important artifacts.

Oversized scanning. The PS7000C MKII scanner for books offers a scanning area of 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" to 18" x 24," so you can scan 2-page spreads, large ledgers and records, archival volumes, art books and graphics.

Fast scanning and printing. You can scan a 2-page color spread in as little as 7 seconds -- and high-speed USB 2.0 interface provides easy connectivity.

Clean, crisp resolution. You will have 24-bit color, 8-bit grayscale, 1-bit B&W imaging for superb fine-line reproduction and balanced image density of complex originals -- with output resolution up to 600 dpi.

Versatile mode selection. You can scan in book mode, sheet mode and 3D mode -- along with spread, single left, single right and split modes for maximum flexibility from a single system.

Vending interface. The scanner for books is compatible with 3rd-party coin and card vending solutions, allowing end-users to pay directly for the scans and prints they make.

Automatic imaging features. Built-in features can automatically correct for book curvature, mask finger and frame images, erase center shadows and center images on the page.

Versatile network support. The Konica Minolta PS7000C MKII scanner provides support for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 environments.

Image DIVA software. Enables even first-time walk-up users to scan and print at the touch of a button, with touch-screen control, scan mode selection, image zoom and print preview.
